Having your boiler serviced annually is just as important as your cars’ MOT. Infrequent or lack of a regular boiler service means that your boiler is more likely to suffer a breakdown, resulting in inconvenient and sometimes costly boiler repairs. If you are a landlord with gas appliances and central heating, it is a legal requirement that you have these annually tested by a qualified engineer.

MG-Plumbing & Heating are happy to do this for you, and will provide you with a landlords certificate for your records.

Powerflush

Protect and improve your system

Power Flushing works by pumping water at a much higher velocity than usual through the heating system, to loosen harmful corrosion deposits. This process is made more effective by specialist cleansing chemicals and an instantaneous flow reversal device which creates turbulence in the radiators and encourages the removal of debris.

Once loosened the unwanted debris is removed from the system with clean water. At the end of the flushing process, the system contains fresh water, and can resume its normal operation within minutes, depending on the size of property. 

Symptoms of system corrosion

Symptoms of corrosion include cold radiator panels, blocked radiators, boiler noise, a long recovery time after drawing off hot water, and inadequate water supply and failure of pumps, radiators and valves.

A PowerFlush can restore circulation and efficiency to the heating system by removing these undesirable products. It purges them from the system and replaces aggressive water with clean water, chemically treated with Systemsafe-DM corrosion inhibitor to prevent future problems.

Landlord Gas Safety Certificate - High Wycombe

MG-plumbing & heating offer landlords peace of mind with our complete Safety Checks for their rented accommodation. It is a legal requirement for Landlords to maintain appliances and flues which are provided for tenants.

An annual safety check must be carried out by a GAS SAFE approved engineer (formerly CORGI). Where upon a certificate of compliance will be issued.
